Huddle to Fight Hunger

A note from the site: Kraft Foods' Huddle to Fight Hunger program is designed to reach the goal of giving away 20 million meals to Feeding America. The program runs from August 22nd 2010, through January 9th, 2011 and encompasses many ways for consumers to get involved. For all components of the program, the monetary equivalent of meals will be donated by Kraft Foods. $1 donated = 7 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local food banks.

There are numerous ways consumers can participate and help the cause: Coupon Redemption: Look for selected coupons in newspaper inserts on August 22 and September 26, a Maxwell House Coupon Booklet, specified digital coupons on Kraftfoods.com and Huddle to Fight Hunger specified retailer coupons. Some retailer coupons may have a limit on the total number of meals donated, as indicated on the coupon.

Digital Program: Participating in various online activities, such as joining the Huddle to Fight Hunger website, "liking" Kraft Foods on Facebook, uploading photos, "tweets" and more. Each activity results in at least one meal donation. Some activities may not be available until later in the program. There is a limit of four million meal donations from all digital and social media activities.

Texting and Mobile Programs: Texting based on specific programs will enable one meal to be donated. There is a limit of two million meal donations from all texting and mobile activities and there is a limit of one text per mobile device. The applicable time period for each text-based program will be announced from time to time in separate advertisements.

Brand Specific Initiatives: Brands such as Oreo, Ritz, Kraft Cheese and Maxwell House have specific initiatives that allocate one meal to be donated. Visit the Oreo and Ritz Facebook pages to learn about their programs

The program is setting a goal of 20 million meals. Except for a few of the elements listed above, Kraft Foods is not capping the donation nor guaranteeing the donation of 20 million meals. Together with your help we hope to reach our goal of giving away 20 million meals.

Deadliest Catch Game

Another game done at work was for Deadliest Catch.

I worked on the boat (model adjustments) and the crab crates (model adjustments and animations).

LG's Augment Your Reality Iron Man 2 Event

I haven't posted in a while, but here is a video showing an Iron Man 2 & LG event in NYC that displays work done at my company Total Immersion. We created an Augmented Reality phone application, a web game, and a facial tracking program where you can wear Iron Man helmet and chest RT. I worked on modeling Iron Man for the various applications, modeling environments for him in the Augmented Reality web game, then animating Iron Man for the game as well.

The phone app is shown about 40 seconds in.
The facial tracking is about 50 seconds in.
Then the web game that I did the art for is show around 2 minutes in.

For a window/kiosk display at the Vancouver Olympic Village, I modeled and textured an umbrella hat, a ski cap, a medal, and a fedora.
