An AR Addition Game
Posted by Unknown
This was an augmented reality demo project where I modeled and animated Umi characters and the number 4. When you tracked the cards, Umi appeared. If you put two cards together, the program counted the number of Umi (2 cards of 2 Umi) and then an animated number would appear (4).

I was strolling through the internet and came across some more videos about the Augmented Reality campaign for James Cameron's Avatar from 2009(which was a huge part of my life at work)
This first video is just an interview about the campaign, it doesn't demonstrate the technology.

The project I am currently working on is for the next album release of the heavy metal group Mastodon. I'm modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating a 3D computer version of the creature head that will be used in a facial tracking experience.

Coca-Cola and Cowboys & Aliens
Posted by Unknown
This was an advertisement game for the movie Cowboys & Aliens along with Coca-Cola. Using your movie drink cup, you activate the wrist cuff "blaster" and attack the alien spacecrafts "Speeders" before they fly away with all the coke bottles.
I modeled and textured the low polygon Speeder spacecraft.

Kiddie Concepts - Arcade Game - Video of the Astronaut experience
This was a series of 4 different augmented reality games: pinball, a safari, a space racer, and an astronaut voyage. The child enters the kiddie ride, it tracks their face and puts an appropriate 'helmet' on their head, then the experience begins. At the end, your picture is taken.
This video shows the animated alien floating by:

eBay Fashion
eBay Fashion Application...my work, Total Immersion, worked on the "See It On" function at the top left of the application screen. You can 'try on' various glasses using Augmented Reality and your forward facing camera. I modeled the Groucho and Cateye glasses, as well as tweaked around with the textures of all the frames and lenses.
