I participated in a Nicolas Cage themed art show over the summer, so when I heard there was a Christopher Walken themed show coming up in San Francisco, I had to participate! I had learned that Christopher Walken was a lion tamer in a traveling circus when he was younger, so boom...that was my inspiration!

on 3/4" pine, I sketched his likeness using charcoal and pastels
then I applied fabric to create his wardrobe
built out the hat and covered in faux leather
cut a whip in half and adhered it to the piece
coated in resin

I did a portrait of Christopher Walken that I decided to submit to the art show as well called "Regular Guy."
